Ms. Casey is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and she completed her Juris Doctorate degree from Liberty University’s School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia.


Prior to founding Casey Law, P.L.C, Tameka worked as an associate for a boutique bankruptcy firm in Northern Virginia. She is also a former intern for the Third Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia, the Bedford County Commonwealth's Attorney’s office and the Virginia Legal Aid Society. In addition to performing pro bono work for the Lynchburg City Attorney’s Office, in 2008, Ms. Casey served as a fellow for the Lynchburg headquarters of the Barack Obama Campaign for President.  


Prior to entering law school, Ms. Casey worked as a corporate marketing executive for Raytheon and Pearson.
